The Mount Sopris Series V logging system continues the proven tradition of previous log acquisition systems, combining durable hardware software with new micro-processor based control and switching functions. The result is a logger with no confusing knobs, switches, or complicated instructions. The Series V features Windows 2000 NT software, which handles complex , timing- critical, CPU-intensive tasks in the background while the operator manages foreground tasks.

The modular design allows up to ten tool-specific adapters to coexist. Changing tool configurations is done simply by selecting a .tol file from a pull-down menu in the system dashboard. This system has the potential to control a wide variety of third party probes, as long as the power and protocol details are made available.
