(April 2004) Mount Sopris is contributing to the Iraq reconstruction. We are shipping our second geophysical logging system to a USA Army ground water exploration effort based in Balad, Iraq. (January 2004) Mount Sopris and ALT completed a successful test of the new ABI88 high temperature acoustic televiewer tool at the USGS Coso, California site. Excellent images were acquired in a borehole approaching 200 degrees Cent. and the tool is designed to work in hotter borehole environments. (December 2003) We are now taking orders for the new MATRIX Logger! Click here for a spec sheet. (October 2003) Our partners at Advanced Logic Technology (ALT) in Luxembourg have launched a new geophysical logging equipment rental pool to serve our growing customer base throughout Europe. ALT now has in their inventory "classic" Mount Sopris logging tools to go along with their offerings of high-end borehole imagery tools. Contact ALT for details. (June 2002) In a joint effort with our friends at Advanced Logging Technology - Luxembourg we will soon deliver the first group of DSP (digital signal processing) USB2 Loggers. These new uphole acquisition will operate Mount Sopris and ALT logging tools and allow for faster logging speeds.... up to 2x faster than serial port loggers. (February 2002) Mount Sopris announces LogCuncher by Mercury Geophysics. This NEW! high-end log interpretation software has special modules for advanced analysis of full waveform sonic and spectral gamma software. (March 2001) Sopris Signals V. 4 No. 1 Spring 2001 has been published. The feature article is a case history with the new 2SAA-1000 user-configurable, monopole-dipole, multi-frequency full waveform sonic tool. This new line of truly innovative probes represents the latest in borehole geophysical logging technology. The new 2GDA-1000 4-detector high resolution density tool can be used with a radioactive source that does no require a license, or the standard higher strength sources. Look for a DX section to the web late 2001.
