Mount Sopris releases MSHeat Software MSHeat© is the Windows based version of acquisition software for Mount Sopris heat pulse flow meters. The software is compatible with MGX II logging systems which contain the firmware for running MSLog data acquisition software. MSHeat will not operate on older MGX loggers, or MGX II loggers that have not been upgraded to be compatible with MSLog. Click over to the heat pulse flow meter specification page to see a sample MSHeat flow waveform. The software automatically picks heat-pulse arrival time; users can replay waveforms to repick or analyze data. Accurate flows ranging from 0.03 - 1.5+ gal/min can be measured. Calibrations are easy to enter with MSHeat and individual heat-flow waveforms can be saved, and text files can be imported into WellCAD as a mud-log so that a nice histogram type presentation of flow rates is generated.
